Art | Dispatchwork by Jan Vormann

Jan Vormann’s Dispatchwork is a playful, colourful intervention carried out in several cities such as New York, Basel, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Berlin and Venice.

In Dispatchwork, plastic Lego bricks are combined and used to repair damaged walls, therefore giving a completely new perspective on the otherwise gray walls. What’s interesting is that locals and tourists are also invited to participate resulting into innumerable variations!

Over the years, Dispatchwork has gained worldwide popularity. As a consequense Vormann has invited people in far-away places to participate by doing their own installations and sending pictures that ultimately will be featured in the Dispatchwork website along with their name and location.
